15 Year Old Girl Kills 9 Year Old To "Know What It Felt Like"

Ok, so my girlfriend brought this story to my attention, and it's horrible. I'll link the story here so you can read it yourself:

Tried as an adult sounds fair. You purposely take a life, there is no reason for you to keep yours.

Honestly, it takes some pretty ignorant people to not see something like this in a person like that.

I agree. It was also premeditated. She knew what she was doing, she knew it was wrong, and she planned it. She did it to "know what it felt like"? That just makes it even worse, especially if she liked it.

No, she should not be let off as a child for this. Tried as an adult is what I say too.

Yeaaah... This girl definitely has issues. Kinda reminds me of Michael Myers, but anyway. I hope they have psychiatric help in the Cole County Jail, because I believe she's in a great deal of need mentally/emotionally. Someone who just kills another human being to "feel what it would be like" sounds like someone with major emotional issues. And the cutting is a red flag as well, obviously. Something happened to turn this girl... An event that occurred before she first attempted suicide at age 13. I really hope she gets help... And even though she's gonna be in prison for the rest of her life, I hope she finds a semblance of peace.

More especially, poor Elizabeth's family, who are also victims. I hope this tragedy will help them become stronger and closer as a family, and realize that life is short, and we must cherish every moment.

If you can kill someone, then you are old enough for the normal jail system.

And when her reason for killing that poor girl is "wanted to know what it felt like", I think that she sould spend the rest of her life in jail or a facility..
