Suggestion

One thing that keeps pestering me on this site is the redirection. Every time I want to post something it says thank you for posting and then redirects you.

Is there a possibility to change that? And make it so that when you quick reply it just pops up (like normally). And when you make a new thread it immediately goes to let you view the new thread.

I hope you guys can!

Oh and one last thing, can you increase the size of the "New Post" button, (the one for new threads).

I don't really think there's a way to change it.

And double posting is against the rules. If you want to add something, do so in your first post.

Um, is it possible that we can get affiliated with RL, like someone here emails them? It would increase member count... Big time.

It was deleted. I deleted it. That WAS a double post. (As in more than one post in a row, which is against forum rules.)

As for affiliating, that's up to Blue Laguna. I think someone mentioned it to him, and he never answered. So don't hold your breath.

Redirection increases forum speed, and I don't understand the problem with it, since it only takes about 3 seconds to redirect.

Also, Unless you're running on a resolution of 3000x2100, I don't see how the New Posts button is too small. It is possible to increase the size of it, but unless I get more complaints about it, it won't be increased. There is a bit of a process for doing it, and it would also be less aesthetically pleasing imo.


Another thing- Sabriel was telling you no double posting because that's exactly what you did. You double posted, and that double post was deleted. If you have something else to mention, and nobody has posted after you, edit your post. It's the same as the old LF.

Affiliating ourselves with RL is not as easy as it seems, since actually contacting Blue Laguna seems to be a feet in itself. Also, this site was recreating without his permission, and upon his hearing about it, from what I gather, his response was "Oh". At this moment I am trying to gather affiliates, and have been talking to the owners of a few of the most popular manga and anime sites around, so we may be getting more traffic if the talks go well. We'll see what we can do about RL.

But don't you guys find it annoying, that like, after you quick reply it redirects you instead of just popping up the reply? But, heh, I'm the only one complaining so far, I guess no one else is.

Is it possible to change the home page. Like, the website l-factor-reborn.forumotion.net is a blank page, is there a possibility to make the index page the first page? That is one of the first pages people usually look at...

I see no problem with the redirection thing. I'm used to it from forums everywhere.

Ahhh, I think that one was my bad. I began an html edit page, and never got to finishing it, and I think it replaced itself as the main page. Let me check if that's the problem.

Yep, that was the problem, it for some reason set itself as the homepage. Fixed it though. Index will be the homepage as it had originally been.

I have another suggestion. The one rule in LF that pisses me off is the recommendation thread. OK, so we got it covered that we can't have like 50 threads a day recommending different animes to different people. But consider this, if we had ONE thread, stickied in the anime thread and call it... "Recommendation Thread," where people ask for recommendations and members answer. That way you don't have to delete the 50 threads that newbies make.

We've gone through this whole thing in old LF, and there are many reasons not to do that.

Also, clsoing this thread, as the major point of the topic was answered. If you wish to suggest something else, make a new topic with the suggestion as the title.
