| I am using a Wharfedale HDTV and JVC headphones (HA-M300 is the code on the earpieces if that makes any difference) and yet I get this warbly static when any sound is played. If it's the game music, there is always a low hiss and what sounds like the music feeding back into itself? I'm terrible with technical terms, but it sounds like the music is 'fluctuating' and it sounds almost watery. Like it's reverbing or something. It really is quite horrid. SIDENOTE: I've tested other headphones, similar results. Even so, I doubt it's the TV... It's brand freaking new. My question is, how the heck do I get it to stop? Is it a matter of changing my TV settings so that there isn't so much bass or treble (two things I've never worked out ) or are my headphones / TV broke? I really would love a solution to this problem as it would be one less worry. | |

| could be bass/treble settings, could also be the headphone jack or the plug on your tv, its unlikely, but these can affect headphone quality im pretty sure. also those headphones look kinda normal, maybe your tv is pumping out like 5.1/7.1 audio, and your headphones obviously cant handle that, can prob change settings for that on the tv, change it to 2.1 or mono or something. | |
