Hey ya'll i was on the old LF as Hanaji_Tsuki.

As some of you may know I am a soldier in the US Army. I am an Inftantry Sergeant and have been in for just over 3 yrs. I have no set plans to stay in/reenlist but ya never know what might go down.

I'm from Colorado in a small town up in the mountains. I love home and cant wait til I can go back. I'm currentyl stationed in Ft Hood Texas where the land is too flat and the air to thick for my blood.

yeh i got back about 4 months ago from 12 months in iraq. our company was detached from the battalion and sent to build a company outpost out of an abandoned sugar factory in a small town where we conducted our combat operations stopping weapons and counterfit trafficking, raids to apprehend and arrest high value targets known for criminal acts and humanitarian efforts to help the people of the city we lived in.

i havent been on so much lately cuz im in a equipment test deal where im gone all day. pretty much i only have the oppurtunity in the morning and at night and the weekends to be free. haha

I'll restart CF eventually. I've just been a bit busy lately.

sounds good. idea though, since this new forum is supposed to be a rebirth of the old site, do we wanna give our clan a reborn idea as well? different name, maybe some different whatever? idk i know i wasnt there in the beginning so idk what all is what but i thought id throw the idea out there for a reborn CF clan as well.

Well, the main purpose of the clan will be a different one. When it was first created, it was supposed to be for the RPG Inferno. With no Inferno, that's not a possibility. I do want to keep the same name though. It has to have something to tie it to L-Factor's Crimson Fire.

of course i was just throwin ideas out there, but since i know now it was cause of an RP or whatever, i understand. maybe another RP is on the way then? haha!

Now as for my journal entry for today, lol....

so im in this equipment test right and the equip. were wrkin on is pretty much an upgrded version of an old systm. well, im pretty familiar with the old ystem and somehow my name was thrown out there as for being quite exp on this stuff. so now its to the point where data collectors, instructors, some officers, and even some suits are comin for me and askin me a bunch of questions and show them how i would do things to make the system better or easier to use and blah blah blah... im friggin infantry! wth am i the one doin this? actually i can answer that. its because im the one who is out leadin soldiers in actualy combat in a red zone not somebody leadin theirs to the chow hall on a FOB. but still, seriously? i just wanna catch a break.

idk guess im in a ranting mood, but not in a bad way. but really though 2009 has been one of the worst yrs ever in my life. and lately it just feels like the world is weighin down on me. my roommates are either idiots or arsefaces and my "best friend" is one of the biggest d-bags ever lately. if it wasnt for the lack of money and the price of gas and the length til payday i woulda seriously drove out to the lake and just chilled for a few hours and get some soul searchin/ head clearin time for me and only me.

on the brighter side though...... well shoot cant really think of anything all that great goin on for me. haha well ive been having pretty sweet dreams bout snowboardin and other bout cheese... man i love cheese. but yeh thats it. 2009 is the worst year of my life and i cant wait til its over. the only things good bout it was i made it back to USA from iraq in one piece, and quit smoking after 9 yrs of slow suicide. literally the only good points (unless you wanna count me breakin up with the gf lmao)

anyhoo, gotta get to bed. time change is kickin my ass and i hafta get up early as snot tomorrow. peace out

But a RP is on the way, either way. I just gotta work certain things out.

i might still have an idea for an rp saved here on my laptop if you wanna take a loke at it i can email it to you. ill just need ya to PM your email to me or something unless you use your email i got for IM for email too. just lemme know if you wanna look at it and then you can make some changes or whatev so we can get a clan set up and start RPin away haha

another morning another day in texas. friggin woo..... not.

long morning at the company. the platoon sergeant was freakin out over nothin and i have low tolerance for that kinda shit. luckily i get outta there pretty early every morning cuz of this damn equipment test thing im in. haha

today is our 'family day' so we should be gettin off early. theres 2 things i love bout thursdays,
1) get off early
2) 2 days from now tomorrow will be yesterday, which means now will be the weekend. haha!

i got some work to get caught up on when i get off tho and i i gotta fill a lease application to try and get in on the lease at the place im livin at so i cant ry to get some extra mula. well see how that goes.

so today at ft hood was def crazy balls to the wall off the chain insane. idk how many ppl have been watchin the news today but we had a mass shooting on post killin 12 and wounding 31 total. there were 3 shooters, 2 detained one shot and killed. we were on lockdown til a lil after 7pm central time. werent allowed outside, to leave, to come on post, and i either everyone tryin to use their cells at once or the fact that who knows how much the military can do cell service was cut off too so youd be lucky to get a txt out. long day that made history books.... whats crazy is where it all started at i woulda been at today if i wouldnt have been so busy in my equipment test place. had some things i need to do over there, but apparantly everything happens for a reason. guess you can call me lucky or blessed.

but whether this is new to you or not, and regardless of who/whatever you worship, plz pray for those who were injured today and for the families of those who lost a loved one. take a moment silence, meditate, whatev you wanna call it, but plz for these soldiers and their families have them in your hearts and minds. thank you

So today we ended up gettin off to reflect on what had happened and what not. def helpful for me cause i got SO much friggin stuff to take care of. ive gotten half of what i needed to do done so far now its time to finish the other half before the next couple hrs are up/ O.o

nice day chillin with broha. we finally got his bow sighted and cruised some BFE areas of ft hood/tx. got 2 meals at bush's chicken and onloy paid $3.25 and now bout to watch some college football. doesnt really get much better than this..... wait a min thas def a friggin lie. but thas beside the point, finally had a good day. maybe itll last thru the evening too/ O.o

bah wake up and first thing i want is to go to the corner store and get a red bull or something and turns out i need a new starter or my jeep. if it aint one thing its another dammit. so i went and dropped the money for a new one and put it in this morning. fml tho. i dont have the money for that kinda stuff

well now that today is over only 10 more days then life can go back to a semi normal whatev. maybe then ill get back into shape cause i got a mini bike tire showin up too. nah i just aint as cut as i once was (4 months a-friggin-go)

thank god there were no probs while the president was here today at ft hood. i wasnt personally at the memorial but i watched it on tv. sucks being on lockdown in some classified bull sometimes. today wasnt really one of them cause i aint really a fan of obama as i am a republican, plus it was pretty sunny today and i wouldnt have wanted to stand out there for hours just to see someone i dont really like. but hes is the man. not cool wise, but position wise. hes the man.... hm....

anyhoo, spent the hwole day doin nothin at work but makin fun of ppl in our lil group. it was fun. got my access pass today after work to go huntin tomorrow. gotta get up at 2in the am so we can be ready on time. pretty psyked not gonna lie. hopefully we at least see somethin, but id like to get a deer tomorro. thatd be bad as hell haha. anyhoo, gonna go chill with the roomies whilst they play the new CoD. think were gettin pizza for dinner too. yummmmm.
