See me over here?
I've never one to adhere
I'm never far behind
Never too close to find

Nevermind me
Go on through the door I held for you
Nevermind me
I'm just here for you

Nevermind me
I'll always tell you what's in store
Nevermind me
I never knew who was the real whore

I cannot fear
I cannot break
I cannot come to tears
that I cannot take

I cannot form
I cannot conclude
I can't be torn
Away from you

Nevermind me
Walk on my floor that keeps you able
Nevermind me
I'm as balanced as a two-legged table

Nevermind me
My thoughts and feelings don't matter
Nevermind me
Or my thoughts and feelings that I gather

Well maybe I need you
More than you could ever need me
I took you in, I dressed you up
I kept you warm, whenever I thought you needed me

You can call me many things
I wouldn't give a thought
You may call me many things
But I'm just waiting to fall apart

I wait for you every day to walk you home
I keep you company when you're alone
I feel so lonely when you're not in town
I feel so guilty when you're not around

Nevermind me
I'll live forever
Nevermind me
We'll be together

Nevermind me
Nothing else matters
Nevermind me
I'll live forever for you
Even if it kills me for you

Eggplant

I'm sitting back
Garbed in all black
Don't care anymore
I'm losing track

A mighty yawn
As I awake to dawn
I smile out the window
at the lack of lawn
outside

We order Chinese
and I feel at ease
till I come down
easy to please

I take a bite of my eggplant
No real need to rant
I take a bite of my life-lamp
That lightens the cramps
of life

I get up another day
I feel no need to pray
Everything's okay
I'm ready for anything today

And as I walk out the door
I may slip on the floor
and as I see all the whores
I smile to myself as then abhor

and I take a bite of my eggplant
There's nothing that I can't
do if I don't wanna rant
at the lifeless luck of my eggplant

Deep in Dissonance

What do you do when you’re confused?
What do you say when you’re being used
And all of the guests are being amused?

When the horses set you free
And you strangle amongst your glee
Will you be there so I can breathe?

A type of roaming, common thought
Something we’ve never been taught
And followed as most people ought

I can’t remember what’s been said
When I speak through heart and head
The most that I can depent

Because you’ll never be the same
If you crucify your shame
And capitalize on what’s insane

And you’ll never be yourself
If you put your feelings on the shelf
And wait to find you pity yourself

And you’ll never be truly free
Until you take a look around that tree
And take a look in a mirror and see
What you have become to believe

Torn Apart

Sing out your heart
Fear in your heart
Tears you apart
Tears you apart

Sound in your eyes
Doubtful despise
Tears you apart
Tears you apart

Nevermind me saying
That your life is worth weighing
But inside I'm thinking
That inside, you're choking
and it tears you apart

And I feel your remorse
Sympathy and pity I doubt
Could help divorce
The hiding that I'm all about

And I see your eyes
Full of something in the sea
and I see your eyes
and it tears me apart

to shreds

And I feel your aura of love
and I feel your aura of caring
and I feel your innocence so sharing
but it tears me apart

yes, it tears me apart
tears me apart
to see

to see what I see
and know all I can do is flee
and I can't do anything
and I can't say anything
and I can't try anything
and I can't be anything

and you can't be with me
and you can't see through me
and you can't fight with me
and you can't love with me
and it tears us apart
