| Note: All Rules Are Subject To Change.Welcome to the New 'L-Factor Reborn' Forums
I am Viper718, active Administrator, and "Rebirther" of the L-Factor Reborn forums. I know many people missed the old L-Factor forums, which had stopped working, and was unaccessable by all, so I took it upon myself to recreate the forums for all old members, and new members alike. Now, first thing’s first; you may or may not be familiar to the way in which we wish all members to conduct themselves within the forums, therefore, I would like you to read the following rules before proceeding into your first posts (Note: Any users found disobeying rules will have Forum Points deducted from their account, based on the severity of the action):
Do Not Spam
We here at L-Factor Reborn are very adamant about our no spam policy. We expect our members to stand behind these rules. For those of you who don't know what Spam is, read the following below:
- Posts that do not include any purpose or ideas relevant to the thread topic.
- Posts which do not provide any suitable opinion or information.
- Posts which do not make any sense at all.
- Posts which are only posted with the very intention to increase your post count or forum points.
- Posts that contains only a few words or a single line. Of course, few words or one liners may only be allowed if those few words manage to create an impact on the thread.
- Posts with too much punctuation and grammatical mistakes, making them extremely hard to understand.
- Posts that are in any other language other than English. This rule has been made as this is an English forum. However, words from other languages that most people are likely to understand may be allowed (e.g. certain Japanese, Spanish or French words). Nevertheless, if English is not your first language and you are having difficulty dealing with the language of English, then we understand and you would be allowed to use non-standard English, but only up to a certain point. If the post fails to conclude any sense, then I am afraid it would be considered as spam.
Do Not Duplicate Threads
Here at L-Factor Reborn, we do not allow the recreation of threads that are already on the forums. Before you create a new thread, please search through the forums to check whether the same thread has already been created or not. If there is no thread already existing on the forum about the topic you wish to post on, you may then create the new thread. If the thread you wish for has already been created by another user, we request that you post in that thread, instead of creating a new one. Starting a new thread that has already been created on the forums will only get your thread deleted. If you still persist on creating a new thread which already exists, you will be issued a warning. Also, if the previously made thread has been closed, do not create a new one. Know well that if a thread has been closed, it has been closed for a valid reason.
Do Not 'Double-Post'
Double Posting is when you post twice in a row in the same thread, and will not be tolerated on the forums. You are requested to not double post, or the posts will be deleted, and a warning may be issued if you continue double posting. Of course, “Journals” and “Creator's Corner” threads are exceptions. The “RP Sector” is also included in the exceptions list, unless indicated by the RP Starter.
Do Not Post In 1337 5P34K (LEET SPEAK)
The 1337 (Leet) Language is strictly prohibited in the forums. Substituting “3” for “E”, “4” for “A”, “5” for “S” and so on are not allowed within the forums. If members are found talking in leet speak on the forums, their posts will be deleted, and if the problem persists, warnings will be issued.
Do Not Post Shorthand English
You are earnestly requested not to post shorthand English within the forums. Shorthand English may refer to substituting “2” for “to/too”, “u” for “you”, “luv” for “love”, “lyk” for “like”, “tnx” for “thanks” and so on. Substituting numbers/symbols for letters of the English Alphabet or shortening words is strictly prohibited. We expect our members to speak in proper english, though we understand not everyone is perfect with grammar or spelling, steer clear of shorthand, or your posts will be deleted, and if the problem persists, warnings will be issued.
No Offensive Comments, Threads, or Posts
Offending someone in the forums is strictly prohibited. Be it insulting them or badmouthing them, if you have a problem with something that someone has said, or a certain individual specifically, you are strongly requested to keep it away from the forums. If you feel as though you really need to resolve the situation, do so through PM's (in a civil manner), or contact a moderator. Please respect the other members of the forum!
Sexism, racism, or anything similar is also strictly prohibited within the forums. This forum is not the place where you come only to rant about the kind of people you hate.
Moreover, creating an account just to flame someone, or creating an account with an offensive username (usernames consisting of immoral content) are also not allowed.
Users will be warned, banned, or perma-banned (permanantly banned from the forums) if the problem continues.
Religious Discussion Rules
We will be very direct about it. Religious discussions are are a very sensitive subject, that can cause many arguements among our members. Because of this, our rules on religion are a bit strict. You may mention religion in context to your post if it holds validity. You may not, however, bash a specific religion, attack another member's religion, or them for their religious choice, nor can you try and push your own religion on anyone else. You may not make a thread specifically targetting or promoting a religion. Those who ignore this rule will have their posts deleted, and be warned.
No Illegal Material or Advertisements Allowed
I believe you understand pretty well what we mean with the word “illegal”. Bringing illegal materials into the forums is strictly not allowed. Illegal material includes pornography, advertisements, or anything that may be disturbing to the members here. If you wish to advertise your site, put the link in your signature, and make valid posts on the forums. Moreover, posting any links which may lead to viruses or any malwares will lead to a direct ban.
Rules on Signatures
You are requested to keep your signature dimensions below 450 x 250 pixels, excluding texts and banners. If your signature image is found to be larger than 450 x 250 pixels, then it would be removed immediately. The maximum height that is permitted for your signature, including all texts and banners is 350 pixels. If the height of your signature exceeds over 350 pixels, then the option to show your signature will be turned off. Moreover, excessively large banners are not allowed. As long as the banners are smallish, they are fine.
Signatures which are too graphic may not be allowed as well, e.g. strong violence, complete nudity, grotesque orgy etc.
Forum Leaders
Here at L-Factor Reborn, we have our own forum leaders, who are here to help you, protect you, and make you bow at our feet (ok, maybe not that last one). If you have any questions, concerns, or problems, feel free to contact one of us, and we will see how we can address the issue. Forums Leaders are as follows:
Viper718 Web Admin
Ryojin Forum Administrator
Sabriel Orion Super Moderator
Airgiod Super Moderator
Agriagropolis Super Moderator
Firestorm Super Moderator
Please note, that arguing with a forum leader for any reason, other than in the debate section, may result in a warning.
Thank You for taking your time to read and understand our rules.
