| I enjoy the Guyver series, originally it being my favorite set of movies as a child (the American live action adaptation of the japanese manga and cartoon series). I then began to enoy the original cartoon series as a kid, and in 2005 a readaptation of the series was made as an anime, called 'Guyver: The Bioboosted Battle Armor', which followed the Manga series, unlike the original cartoon series. Obviously, this manga is the same as the story from the 2005 anime series, along with parts not explained in the anime, or changed, and the continuation of the series that the anime does not continue. I definitely enjoy this Manga series very much. Summary - Spoiler:
Sho and his friend, Tetsuro, stumble upon a strange orb-like mechanism, the Guyver Unit, in the woods. It physically bonds with Sho and turns him into the alien soldier, Guyver. His mission is to protect the Guyver Unit from the Japanese corporation known as Chronos. They are after it and two other units just like it. To retrieve the object, they send out vicious monsters known as Zoanoids. So no one is safe in Sho's life; not even himself.

Funny you should mention that... When I was little, I saw one of the American live action movies with my dad, and at the time I loved it, but didn't really know what it was. It wasn't until about 10-15 years later that I figured it out. I actually watched it again the other day... I can't believe how incredibly cheesy it is! I'm going to assume the manga's better, though... Got any place I can read it online? I used to know a good site that had tons of manga on it, but lost it during a hard drive crash...

| Lol, it's funny you mention rewatching it recently, cause I did the same thing, and I agree, cheesy as hell, but it let me know where I got one of my famous lines from.
"To get some rope to hang myself" is a line Mark Hamil says in the movie, and I've used it to many times, lol.
And I don't know a place to read the manga online, only a great place to download mangas from.
The manga is great though, and I believe the 2005 readaptation anime is great too, in english dub or japanese. Though the anime ends and the manga continues.
If you're ok with downloading, you can find the download page for it Here.
If you just want to read it online, I'd have to look before I could give you a place to read it.
