Build, build, build!

I'm not entirely sure whether or not this would count as something to post in the Creator's Corner, as I'm not sure if any of you would consider this as art.

That being said . . .

When I get bored, I build/sculpt/draw/create random things. From custom Christmas cards to charcoal sketches to lions made out of papier-mache, I will make almost anything if I can find the materials. Why? Because it's fun. Sure, I'm a fan of digital art too, but there is something satisfying about making up a big batch of papier-mache paste and proceeding to get everything in the garage, including myself, covered in goo while attempting to turn a wire-frame sculpture into something recognizable.

This monstrosity is a papier-mache lion. Really, it's a lion. He didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped he would, because someone promised to help me and then a scheduling conflict or seven popped up and I did most of it myself. The finished product, however, isn't too bad for a random project. As you can see, the sculpture's about 2.5 or 3 feet high as it comes about halfway up the door of my truck.

Right now, the object of this thread is to get some suggestions for random stuff to do. What's a hobby like this without ideas? So the next material will probably be polymer clay. Any suggestions?

Wow. It really does look like that stuffed lion. Which is in my room, gathering dust.

It's the stuffed lion's daddy. That's why they look so similar.
