Kamelot

Has anyone heard of this band?
They're an American/European power metal band. I discovered them at the begining of summer through pandora radio and I fell in love.

I've never heard a band that made such emotionally charged and theatrical music. Their singer Roy Khan is the most talented vocalist I've ever heard.

If your interested and haven't heard them check out anything from their albums Epica or The Black Halo. They're a two part concept album based on the story of Faust by Wolfgang Von Goeth (Probably spelled that wrong)

Anybody else like them?

I love Kamelot, especially their song "All Across the Highlands".

Their songs make me feel very energetic when I listen to them, and also nostalgic for some reason.

I recently got hold of their album "Skyforger", and I must say, they're quite good. They blend gothic, progressive and alternative metal elements very nicely. I love the song "March Of Mephisto" and "The Haunting (Somewhere In Time)". Once I get the internet, I'll probably think about downloading their discography.

I think you have the album name mixed up
there. It's called "The Black Halo" and it's the sequel to their album "Epica". The two form a two part concept album.

Crap, I mistook it for the Amorphis album I got the same day. Yes, it's "The Black Halo". Oh, and Memento Moir is an awesome song as well - especially the drum loop.
