| So, nobody had made a post about this, and I am wondering why! I find brotherhood to be much more intense, fun, exciting, and epic than the original FMA. I mean, I love both in their own ways, but I find brotherhood to be just much... better? I don't know what else to call it, but better. Like I said, I love both, but brotherhood follows the storyline made by the author (FMA is one of the few mangas I have actually not read), and more often than not, I find manga authors to make more enjoyable stories than the authors for animes (fillers anyone?). I find the differences in the tendencies of how the brothers act, their personalities as the story moves along, and the different relationships between them and their friends/enemies to be more solid and intense than the original FMA, though, as I said before, I am definitely not knocking the original, as I love it in its own way. So yeah, I'm tired of typing, even though I have more to say, so just use this thread for what you think about the series, and to speak about the new episodes, and hell, the old ones too, lol. Ohhh yeah, almost forgot: - Spoiler:
I love the fact that in this one, Ed and Winry are definitely 100% in love with each other, where as in the other one, it seemed so much more like they were friends with slight feelings that are never really brought up or explored. Love that aspect of Brotherhood

| I like that they follow the manga in Brotherhood series. The first FMA was lacking many important details, and it had the ending totally unrelated to manga. It WAS enjoyable, though. The way things are now, FMA2 is at least twice as better, more dynamic and with way, way more interesting plot. Many of my friends that did not read the manga before were pretty much confused when the second series started and it entirely restarted the plot. After several episodes it appeared to me that it simply is faithful to the manga, so I felt relieved. | |
