Fairy Tail

Just like Naruto, Bleach and Gintama, another new ongoing anime series started only recently known as Fairy Tail, and I can't but help to get the feeling that this one is definitely going to be one heck of an anime series. Well, it IS by all means funnier than Bleach and Naruto (not Gintama, though). It's mainly about Wizards and Guilds, and the story is based on one particular Wizard Guild known as "Fairy Tail".

Anyway, are there any other Fairy Tail followers out there? Please use this as the regular discussion thread!

I've been looking at this anime and pondering starting it. I am almost 100% sure it is made by the same people who make One Piece...cause the main character looks like a pink haired Luffy...and everyone else I've seen looks like a slightly different One Piece characterm, lol, and I like One Piece. So, with this tiny push you gave me in your opening of this thread I might give it a shot, since it does sound interesting.

Pretty cool series with likeable characters and loads of humor (althought nothing revolutionary )

I noticed, this is probably not made by the people who made One Piece, but instead the makers of Rave Master (Groove Master Rave), though they could easily be the same people. I realized this because Plue is in Fairy Tail.

I've been following this anime since the beginning. So far I'm not disappointed. It is still at the early stage whereby they are still introducing (not really introduce, the characters are there already) and also telling the background of the characters. So far, thumbs up from me.

It's funny with lots of action and wizardry. But so far, I don't see any character development, in terms of their skill development. Maybe not yet.

I'm not really sure about the creator of this anime but I was told that the manga is one of the top ones in Japan (I don't read manga anyway, maybe I'm wrong).

The drawings do resemble One Piece.

I notice that it is one of the popular anime downloaded at Reality lapse.

I'll agree that it resembles One Piece. Lucy scarily looks similar to Nami, even though their hairstyles are different. Xtreme character development is yet to be seen, but it's going to be a long series so things will proceed slowly like all the other similar anime.

I do love this anime. I watched to episode 33, at which point there were no new episodes...and then proceded to download the manga, and overload my head with extreme awesomeness. Like jesuscakes on fire. My mind was blown. *drools*

I heard of this anime and did some research on it. It was done by the same people who did rave master.

As for your thoughts on One Peice

I heard that the artists who made this was influenced by the same guy who influenced the creator of One Peice

So far the story is still introducing the characters. The background of each main characters, that is. But the story is interesting as it unfolds each character's secret and how they become like that. The one I like most is how Gray can easily become shirtless. hahhah...very funny.

Anyway, they've explained the background of Gray and Lucy. Currently, they are revealing Erza's secret. I reckon the next character will be Natsu. After that, I believe and hope the story will start to thicken
