Arizona has enacted a recent law that requires Immigrants to carry their papers on them. It empowers law enforcement to question people that they suspect of being an illegal.

| this honestly looks like a law that allows police to pick on ethnic people. as an immigrant myself this is pretty damn offensive. whats the bet they dont pick on immigrant's that look anglo. racism allowed by law... seriously, whats the world coming to. | |

| Arizona is just enforcing federal law. The Federal Government is not doing anything to secure our borders. I don't see how this law is picking on ethnic people when the new Law (if you read it) requires law enforcement to question "suspected" persons who might be illegal. If they have the appropriate papers and so forth then there isn't a problem. It's not racist. It's about time someone took a stand. | |
