| That's another positive way of looking at it. But still the main arc is the best. Hopefully it won't be long | |

| not really, to be honest bleach is a very average anime, i really dont know why i watch it.. but u know... here i am. i like getting closure on the anime i watch and so far bleach has given me none. TBH the end of it cant come soon enough so i can spend 170 meg of quota a week on something better. | |

Well.... Thank you for that useless comment. =] To be honest, I agree that the end can't come soon enough. For being an at-best-average anime, it sure has gone on for quite a long time now.

To be honest, I agree that the end can't come soon enough. For being an at-best-average anime, it sure has gone on for quite a long time now. pfft id prefer a really long and half way decent anime over a short really good one any day, well at least a 20- episode series anyway. by the way bleach is above average but not THE best which is why its gone on for such a long time because tons of people like it. and your welcome for my useless comment. just adds to all yours <3

It's obvious that you're the kind of person who enjoys quantity over quality. I'm the opposite. I would much rather watch a short anime that's really good than an average but long anime.
And yeah, Bleach is an at-best-average anime, not above average. Just because more people watch it than some other anime doesn't mean that it is automatically better than, or even as good as said other anime. Take a look at DBZ. One of the most watched animes ever. Far from being the best. Very far.

if at all possible id rather have a long really good series but those are hard to come by now a days plus i get so into any series i watch and it literally almsot kills me when it ends so....yea i like really long ones a lot more because of that. by the way i still disagree that bleach isnt above average, its above average but because its so long there kinda too much detail and sometimes a lack of it which makes it not the best but its still up there. - Ryojin wrote:

as for DBZ being compared to bleach, good choice i guess but the only reason people watched it a lot plus it isnt considered "the best" is because of how the characters were portrayed in my opinion. the plot and everything other than the creators actual style of drawing were top of the line, so taking that into consideration i think it "could have" been the best. bleach for example is an all-around amazing series except because its planned out to be really long they do some things that make the series a little worse just so they can lengthen it.

1) Length doesn't make an anime great. 2) Detail (or the lack of) doesn't make an anime great either. - Animefreak3000 wrote:

Whoa whoa whoa... Did you really just tell me that everything in DBZ but creator's style of drawing were top of the line? Seriously? The style of drawing was the best thing about the whole damn series! As for the plot... Ooh, here comes a bad guy! FIGHT! Drag it out for 5 episodes, pretending to get your ass kicked! At the last second, find some excuse to become stronger (Believe in yourself and you will have infinite power!) so you can defeat your enemy! Rinse, repeat. Seriously, I get far more interesting plots from reading a newspaper. You keep saying that Bleach is an amazing series. Please feel free to provide any proof to back that up at any time. And, before you request the same of me, read the following: Bleach follows the DBZ style of anime. It's longer than it should be, it lacks an interesting storyline, the characters are two-dimensional, and it's quite cheesy and predictable. I'm not saying it's a bad anime, I'm just saying that it is not above average.

the only true thing above is the two-dimensional character part because you can actually prove that but everything else isnt even valid facts its just your opinion which you do have a right to.

| My my what a debate. For me this is very subjective. One person may say one thing while the other may say the other. In this case, well, you know what I'm talking about. What we need to do is respect each other's opinion, that's all. But a good debate though.
Now on to bleach. how long are they going to continue the filler? hopefully the next episode will be the last one. I'm beginning to lose my interest to watch it. It's too draggy...

| Just watched the last filler episode. It's like a stone off my heart, really. Although the first part, which actually had a plot and some pretty nice fights in it was acceptable, the episodes following Muramasa's death were exceptionally weak.
Let's brace for Ichigo vs Uluqiorra fight!

Let's brace for Ichigo vs Uluqiorra fight! again i didnt really mind the bleach or naruto fillers, never have because that extends the overall length of the anime plus even if it didnt the fillers to be were decent but yes nothing compared to the actual fillerless plotline. overall that fights in the top.....4 or 5 and to be honest, no one could brace themselves enough for the fights to be. cant wait for the fight thats happening right now in the manga to be animated.

| We'll have to wait quite a bit for that one to happen. And prolly there's gonna be another filler along the way. Let's hope not, cuz right now there's a fight after fight in Bleach, and a filler in between two of them would be at the very least... irritating. - Animefreak3000 wrote:

Rather than having Bleach extended, I would like to watch a high-quality series, just like Bleach was in episodes 1-60 or so. Ofc I am perfectly aware of filler's purpose, but I still believe Bleach would be much, much better overall w/o fillers, even at the cost of shortening the series. Well, I'm just gonna rewatch it someday, skipping fillers. That should do the trick

| How far have they gotten with the Eng Dub of this series?
From what I've heard, they're still around 160, and I'm on Ep 151 meaning I'll soon have to be playing the waiting game. Unless this is misinformation and they're actually much further.

| After watching Bleach for so long, the though that Ichigo and others could speak any other language is... a horror! I watched some videos from Bleach english dub on youtube... Byakuya's calm and cold way of speaking sounds awkward for me Guess I'm just too much used to their voices. I simply like japanese voices. The language itself is really pleasant to listen (for me), even thought a greeting sounds like a war declaration xD It needs more ~DESU! | |

It needs more ~DESU! Yeah I feel the same way its like no one puts the necessary amount of emotion into every word like the Japanese do. I'm just so use to their way of voicing anime, not to mention everything else like music for example, I even like their MUSIC more than my own countries music which says something about them.
