So, I remember reading the book when I was little and I don't remember there being much of a storyline to it to turn into a movie.

Nevertheless,

I am stoked for this movie. I mean, I'd be pretty thrilled if, in the process of being grounded for being bad, I discovered and buggered off to an amazing fantasy world full of friendly monsters that made me their leader. Anybody else kind of shamefully excited to see this movie?

i'm not necessarily excited to "See" the movie, but i Am excited that they did make such a 'classic' into a movie. I think the timing is Perfect, and from what i have seen of the previews -it looks amazing!

/cheer-cheer

i highly doubt that movie will be a disappointment Very Happy

I read the book when i was little but yet again i didn't understand what it was about since at the time i was still learning English. Just so you know English is not my first language so I'm really interested in watching this movie and give it a try.

Huh, I didn't know that english wasn't your first language, you speak it well! But, that shouldn't surprise me, since that's the same case as with one of my closest friends...

I read the book when I was little, but I hardly remember it at all. I'm not gonna see the movie, but then again, I hardly go to see any movies these days. Not that I did much in the past either...
